| The Committee are pleased to annouce that it has negotiated a deal with St Faith's Social Club to sponsor the League for the foreseeable future. This not only will this help the stability of the League with a more secure financial future, but will provide us with a large venue where all meetings, Cup and Competition Finals can be held, that has adequate parking facilities and plenty of room for spectators with comfortable surroundings and facilities. More will be revealed at the forth coming League Meeting for the Summer League 2026. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| After an enquiry by a team captain, the Committee would like to advise all team captains that, although not specifially stated in the rules of this league, there is an unwritten understanding that when games are drawn before commencement of play, the order in which the players are drawn to play against the opposite team, albeit pairs or singles, is carried out by the opposing captain. (This does not mean who plays with who as a pair in the same team). This to avoid any unfair gamesmanship by captains. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Recently at a League game, members of a team (including supporters) were asked by the venues staff for Age ID before serving alcohol as they looked under age. The persons in question, gave the bar staff some verbals, which caused a bad atmosphere. It is perfectly within the venue's right to do this in order for them to comply with their licencing laws. Your Committee respectively ask all team Captain's, as per the League Rules (Rule A7), to ensure that all players keep good order. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
